BOSTON black mbA

As your next servant leader, together we will focus our efforts on refining the Chapter’s value proposition to help accelerate growth while deepening our community, corporate, and university partnerships. As the premier organization for black business professionals, we will continue to Raise the Bar through innovative programming to help increase our Chapter's membership base with talented professionals who share our organization's vision and mission.

We are committed to serving members through five channels of engagement: career, education, entrepreneurship, leadership and lifestyle. Members of this organization will have the opportunity to participate in career and leadership development workshops, network with business professionals, partake in community volunteer activities, gain access to exclusive scholarships, and attend chapter-sponsored social events. In 2016, the Chapter will bring new and exciting opportunities for our members and partners.

We are also pleased to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the NBMBAA-Boston's Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) program. NBMBAA-Boston is one of 30 participating chapters with an LOT program. It is the cornerstone of the NBMBAA offering academic enrichment, leadership development, and scholarship opportunities to high school students throughout Massachusetts. In honor of the 25th Anniversary, we’ve launched a $25,000 fundraising campaign exclusively dedicated to generating scholarships for LOT alumni. Please donate today and help support our future Leaders of Tomorrow.

To our members and prospective members, we look forward to a successful year and implore you to volunteer and become even more involved with our Chapter. Thank you to our leadership team, committee members, advisory board, and partners for your ongoing commitment to this organization. Through our combined efforts, I look forward to a successful year ahead!

Yours in Service,

Darla Pires DeGrace, President & CEO
National Black MBA Association, Boston Chapter

Dear Members and Supporters,

I am extremely humbled by the opportunity to serve as your next NBMBAA-Boston Chapter President. It is both a privilege and honor to be chosen to lead an organization that has impacted the lives of so many youth, young adults and professionals across the Commonwealth. I look forward to upholding the high standards of this great Chapter, which has helped me exponentially both personally and professionally.

As I embark on this journey, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to my predecessor, former President, Gary Morton, for his selfless service and dedication to the Chapter. I am committed to sustaining the momentum and will continue his legacy of Raising the Bar with the mantra of “Building Together” through a “Full Circle of Support”.
