Nathalie joined State Street Corporation in 2009, initially working with Global Infrastructure Systems, supporting leadership that has since gained industry-wide accolades in cloud technology and innovation techniques. She then transitioned to Global Procurement Services, contributing to the division’s focus on managing vendor value and risk for the approximately $2.3B spend. While supporting the leadership team in Global Procurement, she received recognition for effectively communicating and contributing to the vision and collaboration across the procurement category functions: IT Hardware/Software, Professional Services, Business Services /Outsourcing, International Services/M&A, Goods & Services, Vendor Management, Operations and Travel Services. She played a key role in creating top of mind awareness among all executive administrative support and the business units served by Global Procurement. Prior to joining the Risk Excellence team, Nathalie contributed to the Corporate Finance department, supporting the multi-year Finance Transformation initiative, geared to significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the division by reshaping the finance culture, enhancing its processes and investing in the technology to leverage shared service capabilities.
She began her career in 1998 at Superior Consultant Holdings, where she managed the Meditech consultants’ portfolios and client engagement for the Northeast region. Her career spans several organizations thereafter taking on roles that sought optimal relationships between client and corporation. Prior to State Street, she has consistently been positioned to have client-facing engagement, excelled in operations and marketing opportunities and driving initiatives on behalf of principal leadership to articulate the premier services provided.
Nathalie has simultaneously thrived as a change agent in her passion within diversity and inclusion. Nathalie is a 2014 graduate of the Associate program in The Partnership, Inc., a leading professional development, evidence-based research and consulting powerhouse. She has been a Project Manager/Leadership Steering Committee member for the Black Professionals Group, an employee resource group within State Street Corporation for the past 4 years. Within this group, she also serves as the Newsletter Editor. Ms. Gauthier is a leadership team member for the Professional Women’s Network (PWN), another employee resource group at State Street. For PWN, she contributes to the Talent Management team, constructing professional development sessions for the network’s leaders who span all corporate levels. Through her PWN efforts, she was chosen to lead her previous Committee and State Street’s involvement in the Massachusetts Conference for Women of 2014, anticipating over 10,000 women for a day-long offering of professional development, community, inspiration and motivation.
Nathalie currently holds the position of VP of Operations for the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) Boston Chapter. As a leadership board member leading the Operations team, she steers the team’s efforts for programming which looks to engage members an opportunity for growth in the chapter pillars of Career, Community, Education, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Lifestyle fulfillment (C.C.E.E.L.L.). Under her leadership, she strives to guide her team in orchestrating professionally-enriching programming for the members. She is also a founding contributor for the Affinity Leadership Consortium, which works collaboratively with regional affinity professional groups.
Ms. Gauthier graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University. She is also a member of ALPHA, the largest Latino professional organization in the country and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).

Nathalie A. Gauthier is an officer within the Global Operations, Risk Excellence division of State Street Corporation. As a risk analyst officer within the Strategic Communications First Line of Defense Team, she is responsible for supporting the Global Operations Risk Excellence online community, strategic communications initiative, metrics and internal data reporting and documentation of the team’s progress.
