An Emmy Award winning journalist, Holland has reported on a wide range of stories including the second Obama Inauguration, the Bowl Championship Series, as well as both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions. He also served as the host of the WGN-TV Auto Show Special for several years running.
Holland joined WGN-TV in September 2011. Prior to his time in Chicago, Holland served as a reporter and fill-in anchor for WDIV-NBC in Detroit, Michigan for two years.
Previous to that, he held general assignment reporter positions at News 12 Westchester in Yonkers, New York and at WMGM-NBC in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
He also worked as a sports anchor and news reporter for TV2-FOX in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Holland originally started in the field as a reporter in Fairbanks, Alaska working at both KTVF-NBC and KUAC-PBS.
Always actively involved in his local community, Holland has lent his time and talents volunteering for the YMCA in Chicago and is a member of the Urban League.
Holland is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania where he earned a degree in Political Science.
